Chandrani Mukherjee, a former Bollywood playback singer from West Bengal and sister-in-law to Bappi Lahiri, embarked on her singing career with the film “Aag Aur Toofan” in 1975 and continued until “Aaj Kie Aurat” in 1993. She was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award three times.
