Hemachandra Vedala, born on June 2, 1988, in Hyderabad, is a celebrated Indian playback singer known for his extensive work across multiple film industries including Tollywood, Bollywood, and Kollywood. He began his musical journey under the tutelage of his mother, V. Sasikala Swamy, a professional singer, learning Carnatic music from a young age and later transitioning to Hindustani music. Hemachandra gained national recognition as a finalist in Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005, becoming the first South Indian to achieve this feat. In his illustrious career, Hemachandra has lent his voice to a variety of hit songs such as “Oosupodu” from “Fidaa”, “Gunde Aagi Pothaande” from “Shivam”, and “Piliche” from “Khaleja”. Noteworthy among his achievements are the songs “Nee Kallalona” from “Jai Lava Kusa” and “Paparayudu” from “Panjaa” which further established his versatility and skill in music production and playback singing.
