Mithoon Sharma, born on January 11, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has carved a significant niche for himself in the Indian music industry as a music director, composer, Singer, and lyricist. He initially gained recognition with tracks like “Woh Lamhe” from Zeher (2005) and soared to fame with the chart-topping hit “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2 (2013), a song that not only received widespread award but also earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. His work in Aashiqui 2 led to several other awards, including the IIFA Award for Best Music Director and the Zee Cine Award for Best Music Director, shared with his co-composers. Further establishing his mark, Mithoon composed other memorable songs such as “Sanam Re” from the movie of the same name in 2016, which was recognized as the Most Streamed Song of the Year at the Global Indian Music Academy Awards.
