Prem Chopra, born on September 23, 1935, in Lahore, British India, is a renowned Indian actor known for his iconic roles in Hindi cinema. Although primarily recognized for his villainous roles, Chopra’s career spans over five decades with more than 380 films to his credit. He made his acting debut in the early 1960s and quickly gained popularity for his distinctive style and memorable dialogues. Some of his notable films include “Bobby,” “Do Raaste,” and “Kati Patang.” Throughout his career, he has worked alongside legendary actors and directors, contributing significantly to the Indian film industry. Though primarily known as actor he has also lent his voice to few songs such as “Lo Mera Pyaar Le Lo” from movie Nafrat and “Kab Se Ye Dil Hai Pyasa” from movie Mera Muqaddar. Chopra has received several awards for his performances, including the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
