​Surinder Singh Mann, popularly known as Sharry Mann, is a celebrated name in the Punjabi music and film industry. Born on September 12, 1982, in Mohali, Punjab, Sharry initially pursued civil engineering but was drawn towards music influenced by the legendary Gurdas Mann and his college performances. His breakthrough came with the viral song “Yaar Anmulle” in 2010, which not only carved his niche in singing but also earned him the PTC Punjabi Music Award for Best Male Debut. Notable tracks include “Mann Ki Baat,” “Rado,” “Dardan Di Dose.” Sharry’s music often combines catchy melodies with Punjabi folk rhythms, contributing to hits like “3 Peg” and “Hostel.” In addition to his singing career, Sharry ventured into acting with his debut in the 2013 Punjabi film “Oye Hoye Pyar Ho Gaya.” His contribution to Punjabi cinema and music continued to be recognized with numerous awards, including the PTC Punjabi Music Award for Most Popular Song of the Year for “Pooja Kiven Aa” from the film “Jatt & Juliet” in 2012.
