Sunitha Upadrashta, born on May 10, 1978, in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, is a versatile Indian playback singer and voice actor primarily known for her contributions to the Telugu film industry. Her musical journey began at a young age, leading to a prolific career where she has rendered her voice in over 3000 songs across various South Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Sunitha’s debut song “Ee Vela Lo Neevu” from the film Gulabi in 1995, under the music direction of Sashi Preetham, marked her entry into playback singing. Sunitha’s accolades include nine Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, and a National Award from All India Radio under the light music category at the age of 15.
