Anandji Virji Shah, born on March 2, 1933, in Kundrodi, Kutch, Gujarat, is an Indian music director. He and his brother, Kalyanji, formed the composer duo Kalyanji-Anandji, creating memorable songs in Hindi cinema. One of their popular compositions is “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas” from the film Blackmail (1973). In 1992, Anandji was honored with the Padma Shri for his contributions to music.
