Hindi Hero No. 1 (1997)

Hero No.1 is an Indian Hindi comedy-drama movie directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. It features Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in lead roles. The movie was inspired from Rajesh Khanna movie, Bawarchi, and credit where credit is due, Bawarchi was a Hindi remake of a Bengali film called Galpo Holeo Satti by Tapan Sinha. The lyrics are written by Sameer. The movie songs are sung by Vinod Rathod, Poornima, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam, and Sonu Nigam. It was released on 21 February 1997.
