Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is a 2014 Indian Hindi action thriller movie directed by A. R. Murugadoss, based on his own Tamil movie Thuppakki and starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, with Sonakshi Sinha cast opposite him and Freddy Daruwala as the antagonist. It also features Govinda in a cameo role and marks the Bollywood debut of Daruwala. It follows an Indian Army Captain who discovers a plot to bombard Mumbai via sleeper cells and sets out to destroy them including their leader, using his intelligence and fighting skills. The music of the movie is composed by Pritam, and Kaushik Dutta while lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil and Sukumar Dutta. The movie songs are sung by Arijit Singh, Kunal Ganjawala, Aditi Singh Sharma, Piyush Kapoor, Mika Singh, Ritu Pathak, and Benny Dayal. The movie was released on 6 June 2014.
