Hindi Kurbaan (2009)

Kurbaan is a 2009 Indian Hindi action thriller movie directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar. The movie, set against the backdrop of global terrorism, features Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Om Puri, Kirron Kher, Vivek Oberoi, and Dia Mirza in starring roles. The music of Kurbaan was composed by Salim–Sulaiman, with lyrics by Niranjan Iyengar. The movie songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Salim Merchant, Sukhwinder Singh, Kailash Kher, Marianne D’Cruz Aiman, Shruti Pathak, and Vishal Dadlani. Released on 20 November 2009, the movie deals with an underground organization’s attempt at instilling fear through terrorism in the United States. It also intersperses philosophical arguments over the corruption of religious beliefs in an attempt to rectify the damage to non-involved Muslims the world over.
