Mohabbatein, released on October 27, 2000, is a Bollywood romantic drama directed by Aditya Chopra. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles, with supporting performances from Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Sheirgill, Kim Sharma, Shamita Shetty, and Preeti Jhangiani. The narrative revolves around a strict headmaster of an all-boys institution who disapproves of love, and the new music teacher who challenges his beliefs and inspires his students to follow their hearts.

The music, an integral part of Mohabbatein, was composed by the legendary duo Jatin–Lalit, with lyrics penned by Anand Bakshi.
