Arjun Janya, born Lokesh Kumar on May 13, 1980, is a famous music director in the Indian film industry, working in Kannada cinema. He started by playing the keyboard for films and became a music director with his first movie in 2006 the film “Autograph Please”. He became popular for his work in movies like “Birugaali” in 2009, and “Kempegowda” in 2011. Over the years, Arjun has composed music for many hit films, marking his 100th film with “99” in 2019. He’s also known for changing his name from Arjun to Arjun Janya, a move that brought him good fortune in the industry. He won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for “Alemaari” (2012), the SIIMA Award for Best Music Director for “Romeo“, and the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for “Bhajarangi” (2013).
