Guru Randhawa, born Gursharanjot Singh Randhawa on August 30, 1991, in Punjab, India, is a well-known singer, lyricist, and music composer in the Indian music industry. He began his career with performances in Delhi and achieved widespread fame with songs like “Lahore,” “Ishare Tere,” and “Slowly Slowly.” His was having a unique mix of Punjabi, Bhangra, Indi-pop, and Bollywood music. Guru’s music career took a significant turn in 2015 with his popular track “Patola” in collaboration with Bohemia, which garnered over 368 million views on YouTube. His success continued with hits like “High Rated Gabru” and “Lahore”. Some of his work includes “High Rated Gabru”, “Raat Kamaal Hai“, “Ishare Tere“, “Mazhaiyum Theeyam” and “Ishaare Tere”. In 2018, “Lahore” was awarded Track of the Year at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards.
