J. P. Kaushik was a notable music director in the Hindi film industry, well known for his contributions over several decades. He was born in India and his career spanned various regional film industries including Hindi, Haryanvi, and Rajasthani. Kaushik passed away at the age of 93 on March 14, 2017. He made significant contributions to Hindi cinema from the 1960s to the 1980s, composing over 50 films across different languages.
