Jakes Bejoy, an Indian music composer, singer, and producer, has made significant contributions to Malayalam cinema since his debut in 2014 with the film “Angels”. His educational background includes Carnatic music training along with an engineering degree, and a master’s degree in Music Science and Technology from Stanford University, USA. He is known for his diverse music scores across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, including “Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru”, “Ranam”, “Queen”, “Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil”, and “Monsoon Mangoes”. His Telugu debut was marked by “Taxiwala“, starring Vijay Devarakonda. Among Jakes Bejoy’s famous works are the songs from “Ayyappanum Koshiyum”, “Ranam”, and “Queen”. His music for “Ranam” earned him significant recognition, including the Filmfare Award for Best Background Score.
