Raftaar, born Dilin Nair on November 16, 1988, in Delhi, India, is a distinguished Indian music director, rapper, and composer known for his contributions to Bollywood and the Indian music industry. Initially, he started his career as a dancer named Max, and later he found his passion in rapping. Raftaar gained significant attention in the music world as part of the urban music group Mafia Mundeer, formed by Yo Yo Honey Singh. Some of his famous songs include “Swag Mera Desi” (2014) with Manj Musik, a track that won the Best Urban Song award at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards, and “Dhup Chik” from the movie Fugly (2014). “All Black” (2015) with Sukh-E, another massive hit known for its energetic beats became a party anthem upon its release. Notably, he won the Best Urban Single award for “Swag Mera Desi” at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards, a significant honor that marked his arrival on the music scene.
