Ram Sampath, born on July 25, 1977, is a well-known Indian music director, composer, and producer. He began his career by creating music for advertisements in Mumbai and later moved on to compose for popular pop albums and films. His journey into music started early, inspired by a family that appreciated Carnatic music, leading him to learn this genre for eight years. Ram Sampath gained fame for his work in films such as “Khakee,” “Delhi Belly” (2011), “Talaash” (2012), and “Raees.” Among his most famous songs are “i” from “Delhi Belly,” “Jee Le Zara” from “Talaash,” and “Dhating Naach” from “Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.” He has been nominated for various awards, including a Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for “Delhi Belly.” Additionally, he won the Mirchi Music Award for Best Background Score of the Year for “Delhi Belly” and the Indie Pop Song of the Year for the title track of “Satyamev Jayate”​.
