Rishi Rich, born Rishpal Singh Rekhi on June 30, 1976, in London, is a celebrated British-Indian music producer known for his groundbreaking work in bhangra, Hindi remixes, and Asian-R&B fusion music. His project, the Rishi Rich Project, was instrumental in bringing British Asian talents like Jay Sean and Juggy D into the mainstream. Notably, his track “Dance with You (Nachna Tere Naal)” featuring Jay Sean and Juggy D, released in 2003, became a major hit in the UK and beyond. Another significant track, “Push It Up (Aaja Kuriye)” featuring Juggy D and Jay Sean from his album “The Project” in 2006, topped the BBC Asian Network Chart. His contribution to music has been recognized with awards, including Best Producer at the UK Asian Music Awards in 2003 and 2009.
