Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy is a team of three music directors who make music together for movies. Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa are their names. They started making music for movies in the late 1990s. At first, they made music for a few films that not many people noticed. But soon, they made music for a movie called Mission Kashmir which many people liked. Their big moment came with the movie Dil Chahta Hai in 2001. They have made music for many movies in different languages like Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu​​. Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy have made some very famous songs. For example, “Kal Ho Naa Ho” from the movie of the same name, “Kajra Re” from Bunty Aur Babli, and “Mitwa” from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna are some of their most loved songs.
