Samira Koppikar, born on 26th September in Mumbai, is a celebrated singer, songwriter, and music composer in the Indian music industry. Her musical journey started early under the influence of her parents and she began training in music from the age of three. Samira made a significant impact in Bollywood with her singing debut “Aaj Phir Tumpe” from the movie Hate Story 2 in 2014, a song that became hugely popular. She further solidified her reputation with the song “Sawan Aaya Hai” from the movie Creature 3D. As a music composer, she debuted with the track “Maati Ka Palang” in the critically acclaimed movie NH10 in 2015. Beyond playback singing, Samira has shown versatility in composing music for films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Laal Kaptaan. Her composition “Bairaagi” from Bareilly Ki Barfi was notably nominated for the 10th Mirchi Music Awards as Female Vocalist of The Year.
