Sooraj Santhosh, born on September 19, 1987, in Kollam, Kerala, is a prominent figure in the Indian music industry, known for his versatility in singing across multiple languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. He began his playback singing career with notable South Indian composers such as Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, and has delivered hits across various film industries. Some of his well-known songs include “Thaniye Mizhikal” from the movie Guppy, for which he won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Playback Singer in 2016, “Ee Ramayanakootil” from Second Show, and “Yamma Yamma” from All in All Azhagu Raja​. His notable tracks include “Jeevakaasham” from Prakashan Parakkatte and “Malarodu Saayame” from Radhe Shyam.
