Jamai Raja (1990) is a Hindi-language film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Anil Kapoor as Raja, Madhuri Dixit as Rekha, and Hema Malini as Durgeshwari. The film, released on October 19, 1990, is a remake of the Telugu film Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu.

The story revolves around Raja, an unemployed yet intelligent man, who marries Rekha. Durgeshwari, Rekha’s controlling mother, creates hurdles for Raja but eventually accepts him. The music for the film was composed by Laxmikant– Pyarelal with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
