Music Director Jasleen Royal
Jasleen Royal, also known simply as Jasleen, was born on July 8, 1991, in Ludhiana, Punjab. She began her career after participating in India’s Got Talent in 2009. Jasleen’s big entry into music direction came with her soulful composition “Preet” in the 2014 Bollywood film Khoobsurat. Notably, she composed “Nachde Ne Saare” and “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan” in the film Baar Baar Dekho (2016) and “Love You Zindagi” in the movie Dear Zindagi (2016). Jasleen’s contribution to music has been recognized with several awards and nominations. She won the Best Indie Artist award at MTV Video Music Awards India for her debut song, “Panchi Hojavan,” which set the stage for her Bollywood career. Additionally, her song “Din Shagna Da” from the movie Phillauri (2017), has been a top choice for Indian weddings, further cementing her status in the industry. She won the Filmfare Awards in 2022 as Best Music Director for the film Shershaah.
