Mannan Shaah was born on September 20, 1987, in Mumbai, India. He has been active in the music industry since 2011, primarily working in Hindi films. His education was completed at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, where he honed his musical talents and later trained under the guidance of the late Pandit Vinayak Vora and Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. Mannan Shaah started his career in Bollywood as a singer in 2011 with the film “Kucch Luv Jaisaa” and soon transitioned to music direction. His debut as a music director was with the film “Commando: A One Man Army” in 2013. Mannan is known for his use of live instruments and a rich blend of Indian classical with modern music techniques, which has been evident in films like “Commando 2: The Black Money Trail” and “Namaste England“. Famous Songs Directed by him include “Tere Dil Mein” from “Commando 2: The Black Money Trail” by Armaan Malik, “Ziddi Hai Dil” from “Namaste England” and “Akhiyaan Milavanga” from “Commando 3” by Arijit Singh. Awards and Achievements honoured by him include the Mirchi Music Award for Upcoming Music Composer of The Year – For the song “Tere Dil Mein” from “Commando 2: The Black Money Trail”. Zee Cine Award for Best Track of the Year – For “Akhiyaan Milavanga” from “Commando 3”.
