Vishal Chandrashekhar is a talented music director born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He began his musical journey playing the keyboard at six years old and performing solo shows by ten. Vishal graduated from Anna University with a master’s degree in Electronic Media and has created music for over 450 short films and 250 advertising jingles. His official entry into film music started with the movie “Hi Da” in 2012. Vishal’s breakthrough came with his score for the film “Inam” (2014), directed by Santosh Sivan, which earned him critical honor for its emotionally resonant music. Among Vishal’s well-known tracks include “En Kannukulle” from “Appuchi Gramam” (2014), “Shoot the Kuruvi” from “Jil Jung Juk” (2015) and “Sita Ramam” (2022). He has received honors including the Best Music Director award at the Vijay Awards for his work in “Inam” and another prestigious award for his innovative music in “Jil Jung Juk.”
