Anweshaa, born Anwesha Kushal Dattagupta on December 15, 1993, is a most popular Indian singer and composer known for her work in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, and other Indian languages. She first gained national attention at the age of 13 on the reality show Amul STAR Voice of India, Chhote Ustaad. Anweshaa’s career took off with her playback singing debut in the Bengali film “Khela” (2008) with the song “Ek Je Achhe Raja.” Her Bollywood breakthrough came with “Golmaal Returns” for Pritam Chakraborty at just 14. Notably, Anweshaa has been honored with the Filmfare Award (East) for her contributions​. Some of her famous songs include “Saaradin aar saara raat” from the Bengali film “Rupkatha Noy,” “Tha Kar Ke” from “Golmaal Returns,” and “Banarasiya” from “Raanjhanaa.”
