Haricharan Seshadri, known simply as Haricharan, is an accomplished Carnatic vocalist, playback singer, and musician from India, active since 2005. Born on March 20, 1987, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he has lent his voice to over 2000 songs across Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada cinema. His breakthrough came with the song “Thuli Thuli” from the movie “Paiyaa” (2010), composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Haricharan has received several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Malayalam for the song in “Banglore Days” (2015) and multiple IIFA Utsavam Awards, notably for his work in “Baahubali“​. Haricharan’s notable songs include “Unakkena Iruppen” from the film “Kaadhal,” which gained widespread popularity and a National Film Award nomination in 2005. Additionally, he collaborated with Rajinikanth in “Maattram Ondrudhaan Maradhadhu” for the soundtrack of “Kochadaiiyaan” (2014).
