Jaspreet Jasz, born in New Delhi, India, has carved a niche for himself in the music industry with his unique voice and remarkable talent. Launching his career in playback singing in 2006, Jasz gained prominence through his participation in the music reality television series Indian Idol. His musical journey took a significant turn when he collaborated with A.R. Rahman for the title track of the movie “Blue“, and his song “Nimma Nimma” was featured in the 2012 Summer Olympics. Among his popular Hindi songs are “Ehsaan” from “Dil Kabaddi“, and “Blue Theme” from “Blue”. In Telugu cinema, his hits include “Ye Pilla Pilla” from “Dhada”, “Barbie Girl” from “Mirchi”, and “Seeti Maar” from “Duvvada Jagannadham”. Jasz’s contributions to music have been acknowledged with nominations for “Best Playback Singer” at the Maa Music Awards 2013 and “Fresh New Voice” at the Mirchi Music Awards 2011 .
