She was instrumental in the success of New Theatres, Kolkata, with her singing style marking significant hits. Notable songs include “Ami Banaphul Go” from “Shesh Uttar,” “Duniya Yeh Duniya, Hai Toofan Mail” from “Jawaab,” and her performance in “Mukti” is lauded as one of her finest.
