Ranjini Jose, born on April 4, 1984, is a renowned Indian playback singer who has contributed to over 200 films across five languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Starting her career in 1998 with the Chorus Peters Chochin Chorus Troupe, she made her playback debut in Malayalam cinema with “Melevaryathe Malakhakkuttikal” alongside K. S. Chithra. Ranjini has also acted in films and founded the five-piece band Eka in 2017, exploring genres like Hindustani, Carnatic music, folk, Indian pop, and rock​​.
