Shekhar Ravjiani, born on November 29, 1978, in Kutch, Gujarat, is a renowned Indian singer and music composer, best known as one half of the popular Bollywood music duo Vishal-Shekhar. The duo began their musical journey with the film “Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi” in 1999 and achieved fame with their work on “Jhankaar Beats” in 2003. Some of his notable works include the songs “Dus Bahane” from the movie “Baaghi 3“, and the romantic hit “Tujhe Bhula Diya” from “Anjaana Anjaani“​. He and his music partner Vishal received the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for their work in “Jhankaar Beats”. Additionally, they won the prestigious Asian Film Award for Best Composer for their outstanding work in “Om Shanti Om“, a film that featured some of their most iconic songs like “Aankhon Mein Teri”​.
