He started his career as an assistant to Harris Jayaraj on films like “Kaakha Kaakha” and “Anniyan” before making his debut as a composer with the Tamil film “Parijatham” in 2006. The song “Unnai Kandene” from this film became a huge hit. Over the years, Dharan has contributed to various Tamil films and even proceeded into Malayalam cinema with “The Thriller”. He has also worked on non-film projects, including a tribute single to Michael Jackson titled “Sing One More Time”.
