Sushin Shyam, born on 13 February 1992 in Thalassery, Kerala, is a famous Indian music composer, instrumentalist, and singer, known predominantly for his work in Malayalam cinema. Starting his music direction career at the young age of 19, Sushin initially assisted veteran composer Deepak Dev, before making his breakthrough with the film “Sapthamashree Thaskaraha” in 2014. Over the years, he has carved a niche for himself in the film industry with his distinctive style and innovative use of music, contributing significantly to films like “Kumbalangi Nights” and “Varathan.” Notably, his work in “Kumbalangi Nights” includes the hit song “Cherathukal,” which contributed to him winning the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director in 2019. Other significant tracks include “Oduvile Theeyayi” from “Varathan” and “Be Notorious” from “Bheeshma Parvam.”
