C.H. Atma, born in Hyderabad (Sind), now in Pakistan, in 1923, made a mark in the Hindi film industry as a singer and actor until his death in 1975. He was known for his unique singing style. He also gave hit songs in movies like ‘Aasmaan’ (1952) and ‘Nagina‘, working with famous singers like Geeta Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle.
