Sharda Rajan Iyengar, known professionally as Sharda, was an Indian playback singer prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for “Baat Zara Hai Aapas Ki” in “Jahan Pyar Miley” (1970) and is well-remembered for “Titli Udi” in “Suraj” (1966). Her career spanned from 1965 to 1986, and she made a comeback in 2007 with her album “Andaaz-E-Bayan Aur,” featuring her compositions based on Mirza Ghalib’s ghazals.
