Hindi Khamoshi: The Musical (1996)

Khamoshi: The Musical is an Indian Hindi musical romantic drama movie directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his directorial debut. The movie features Manisha Koirala, Nana Patekar, and Salman Khan in lead roles. Manisha Koirala’s portrayal of Annie, a caring daughter of a deaf-mute couple, was critically praised and is regarded as one of her finest performances to the date. The musical numbers were composed by Jatin Lalit. The lyrics were written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. The vocals were performed by Hariharan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shraddha Pandit, Khusumum, Udit Narayan, Sulakshana Pandit, Jatin Pandit, Remo Fernandes, and Dominique Cerejo. It was released on 9 August 1996.
