Saindhavi Prakash, born on January 3, 1989, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is a distinguished Carnatic music vocalist and playback singer in the Indian film industry. Her journey in music began at a tender age, and she started performing publicly by the age of twelve. Saindhavi has made significant contributions to both film music and Carnatic classical music. Her repertoire spans several languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, which has helped her amass a broad fanbase across India​. Notably, she received the Edison Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song “Yaaro Ivan” from the Tamil film “Udhayam NH4” and again for her performance in “Theri” with the song “En Jeevan”.
