Shantanu Moitra is a famous music director who was born on January 22, 1968, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He started his career in music by making jingles for ads. Later, he made music for many famous Hindi movies. Shantanu is known for his work in movies like “Parineeta” (2005), “Lage Raho Munnabhai” (2006), and “3 Idiots” (2009). He has also worked on private albums like “Mann ke Manjeere” and “Ab ke Saawan” sung by Shubha Mudgal. Some of his famous songs include “Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh” from “3 Idiots,” “Bawara Mann” from “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi,” and “Piyu Bole” from “Parineeta.” He won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for the film “Na Bangaaru Talli” in 2014 and the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for “Parineeta” in 2006.
